Florine Oglesby Zorn

Florine Oglesby Zorn, 76, entered into rest Monday, March 25, 2024, at her residence. She was born on April 5, 1947, in Jenkins County to the late John and Rozzie Bragg Oglesby. Florine retired from Bell South after 35 years of service. Following her retirement, she worked in the pharmacy department at Burke County Hospital for 11 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her puppy, Meme, who was her constant companion; her twin sister, Pauline Beard (Bob Mobley) of Waynesboro; a nephew, Chris Beard (Whitney) of Martinez; four great nephews, Christian Beard, Oliver Beard, Charlton Beard, and Bennett Beard; and a stepdaughter, Suzanne Zorn Brown of Ashburn, GA.

Graveside Services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, March 27 in Burke Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jerry Sharpe officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
