F.L Holloway

F.L. Holloway, 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, February 25, 2022. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina and was a longtime resident of Burke County. He was a former Pastor of Gough Baptist Church and was an Evangelist musician using his love of music to carry on his ministry of Jesus at Bay Branch Baptist Church in Sylvania, Hiltonia Christian Church, and presently at East Burke Baptist in Sardis. He was the owner and operator of F.L. Holloway Mobile Home Repair Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Irene Hensley Holloway; and his granddaughter, Abbey Holloway.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Sally Holloway of Sardis; his daughter, Ira Godbee (Kenneth) of Sylvania; his sons, Tim Holloway (Carlie) of Franklinville NC and John H. “Patch” Holloway (Becky) of Asheboro NC; his siblings, John Holloway of Sylvania, Paul Holloway of NC, Ann Ruff of Graham, NC, and Wanda Chapman of Honea Path, SC; his grandchildren Allison Hendley (Dustin), Dusty Godbee, Anna Holloway, Zach Holloway, Jake Holloway; and one great grandchild, Natalie Kay Hendley.

Remembrances may be made the Churches he was involved with during his ministries.
