Mrs. Faye Saxon Pleasants
Perkins-Mrs. Faye Saxon Pleasants 74, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family at her residence Friday, September 16, 2016. She was a native and lifelong resident of Burke County, member of Botsford Baptist Church and had worked many years for the Kellers Aluminum Plant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Pleasants, her first husband, Lewis E. Saxon and her sons Lewis E. Saxon, Jr. and Clyde E. "Popcorn" Saxon
Surviving are, her children, George Saxon and wife Cindi of Perkins and Teresa Johnson and husband Pat of Waynesboro; her siblings, Buddy Royal and wife Mary of Girard, Pete Royal of Stapleton, Earlene Tucker of Waynesboro, Linda Cheeks of Stapleton and Virginia Wegmann of Savannah; her best friend, Doris Harrison of Carlisle, PA; her grandchildren, George Saxon, Jr, Jeremy Saxon, Justin Saxon, Joseph Saxon, Amy Cowart (Trey), Samantha Burke (Hank), Macie Saxon, Eddie Saxon, III (Emily), Sheline Parker(Richard), 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Chapel with the Reverend Daniel Wiggins and Reverend Ernest Johnson officiating with burial to follow in Burke Memorial Gardens.
Remembrances may be made to a Charity of Choice.
