Waynesboro, GA - Everett Allen Ellison, 66, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Eisenhower Medical Center, Ft. Gordon, GA.He was born in Waynesboro, GA on December 26, 1942 to the late Harold Ellison and Grace Allen Ellison.He was a retired United States Army helicopter pilot and a member of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church.His hobbies included camping, trout fishing, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Moates Ellison; his daughter, Lisa Oliphant (Eddie) of Augusta; his grandchildren, Allen West, Marianne Lee, Zachary Lee, and Daniel Lee; and his great-grandchildren, Savannah West, Kaden West, and John Lee, Jr.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 29, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Alderman officiating.Burial will be private.
