Evan Skylar Sharkey

August 28, 1992 — May 27, 2013

Waynesboro, GA-Evan Skylar Sharkey, 20, entered into rest Monday, May 27, 2013. He was a 2010 graduate of Edmund Burke Academy and was currently attending Georgia Southern University.

He is survived by his parents, John and Suzanne Elliott Sharkey of Waynesboro; sister, Taylor Thomas; brother, Brandon Martin; grandmothers, Marie Sharkey, Margaret Elliott, and Charlotte Parker; and many other family members.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 5pm Saturday, June 1at the funeral home. A private committal will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the home of John and Suzanne Sharkey following the committal service.
