Eva Saxon Streit
June 5, 1924 — April 17, 2016
She was born on June 5, 1924 in Millen and was a daughter of the late Otis S. Saxon and Mattie Billings Saxon. Mrs. Streit had a rewarding career as a business owner in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. After retirement she moved to this area to be closer to her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Streit; and a sister, Mildred Saxon Corley.
Survivors include her sister, Marion Holton of Sylvania along with many nieces and nephews including Donna Barlow, her niece and caregiver. Also surviving are two special caregivers, Margaret Hightower and Kathy Ailstock.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hephzibah United Methodist Church, 4471 Brothersville Rd. Hephzibah, GA 30815.
