Eunice Grabowskii

September 27, 1920 — February 16, 2013

Louisville, GA- Kathryn Eunice Irwin Grabowskii, 92, entered into rest Saturday, February 16, 2013. She was born September 27, 1920, in Jefferson County to the late Mr. and Mrs. James O. Irwin Sr. She was a member of the Homemakers Club of Louisville, a Pink Lady at Jefferson County Hospital, and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. Eunice was a member of Bethel A.R. Presbyterian Church in Vidette. She worked as an assistant rural mail carrier for many years. She also worked at the Piggly Wiggly and was a secretary at Bethea Funeral Home in Louisville. Eunice was a graduate of Erskine Presbyterian College in Due West, SC and attended Georgia Southern College in Statesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip L. Grabowskii, Sr.; great granddaughter, Grace Grabowskii; her brothers, James O. Irwin, Jr. and William Irwin; and a sister, Mary Frances Brinson.

She is survived by a son, Philip L. Grabowskii, Jr. (Rose) of North Augusta; a grandson, Philip T. Grabowskii of North Augusta; 3 great grandchildren, Charles, Jacob, and Caroline Grabowskii all of North Augusta; a brother, Walker Irwin (Doris) of Roswell, GA; a sister-in-law, Nell Irwin of Louisville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 18 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rose Dhu Cemetery in Vidette.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
