Mrs. Eunice Cooper "Dot" Quick, 89, the daughter of the late Joseph Augustus and Nancy Wilkins Cooper, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Burke Medical Center. Mrs. Quick was a native of Glascock County and a longtime resident of Burke County. She was a member of Botsford Baptist Church and was retired from Thompson-Story Insurance Company after 50 plus years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Quick; her sisters, Helen Drew and Sarah DeLaigle; and her great grandson, Chandler Oglesby.
Surviving are her children, Richard D. "Ricky" Quick and wife Shirley of Waynesboro, Carol Ann Gresham and husband Joby of Keysville and Jeff Quick and wife Donna of Waynesboro; her sister, Mrs. Tippie Usher of Greens Cut; her grandchildren, Amy Gresham Brien (John), Brad Gresham (Nichole), Leslie Quick Cardoza (Matt), Jennie Quick Oglesby (Patrick), and Michael Quick; great grandchildren, Dallas Cooper, Anderson Brien, Isabella Cardoza, William Cardoza, Noah Oglesby, Palmer Gresham, and Sawyer Gresham; and several nieces and nephews.
Active Pallbearers will be Bill Usher, David Usher, Tim Drew, Brad Gresham, Michael Quick, and Palmer Gresham.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Botsford Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Dann officiating with burial to follow in the Botsford Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Service.
