Waynesboro, GA- Eunice Hayman Dickey Bryan, 95, entered into rest Wednesday, June 1, 2016. She was the wife of the late Emerson Dickey, both were residents of Waynesboro having owned and operated Dickey's IGA. She also worked in many retail stores in downtown Waynesboro until her retirement. Later in life, she married Wilson J. Bryan of Augusta. Eunice was a true "Southern Lady". She was a caring, gracious, and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who enjoyed her family and friends.
She is survived by two children, Rosemond Dickey Sheets of Waynesboro, and Ralph Evans Dickey (Jean) of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Keith Sheets (Stacey) of Winder, Kathy Bremus (Scott) of Brasselton, GA, Laurie Dickey of Waynesboro, Josh Dickey of Waynesboro, and Todd Dickey of Athens; and four great grandchildren, Ansley Bremus, Andrew Bremus, Kerigan Sheets, and Evan Sheets.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 pm Friday, June 3 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, June 3 at Burke Memorial Gardens.
