The family will receive friends Saturday, November 5, at DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Green's Cut United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jerry Sharpe officiating.Interment will be at Jackson-Martin Cemetery on Hwy 56 North.Pallbearers will be Evans Martin, Lawton Hickman, Jerry Martin, Chris Martin, Mark Price, Matthew Price, Andrew Margolius, and Russell Newman.Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Usher, Barton Mims, Fred Mims, Ray Saxon, Keith Spell, Randy Scott, and Henry Glisson.
She was born on June 28, 1916 to the late Henry Alvin Barton and the late Sallie Johnson Barton.She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker her entire life.
She is survived by a sister, Catherine Mims of Hephzibah; four children, Sue M. Oglesby (Billy) of Augusta, Henry Martin (Debra) of Waynesboro, Onnie M. Cox (Larry) of Waynesboro, and Luther Martin (Sue) of Hephzibah; seven grandchildren, Sandy O. Margolius (Andrew) of Atlanta, Dawn H. Price (Mark) of Augusta, Evans Martin (Lori) of Waynesboro, Lawton Hickman (Heather) of Waynesboro, Jerry Martin of Waynesboro, Jeff Martin (Brandy) of Kansas City, KS, Chris Martin (Caitlin) of Grovetown; ten great-grandchildren, Amanda Price, Matthew Price, Madison Martin, Clay Anderson, Isabella Martin, Lily Martin, Ethan Martin, Sloane Margolius, Will Hickman, and Jaxon Martin.
