Waynesboro, GA - Emily Elizabeth Dunn McBride Nasworthy, 89, entered into rest Sunday, May 17, 2009.She was born in Sparta, Georgia on November 10, 1919 to the late James Oswald Dunn and Eva Lott Dunn.She had lived most of her adult life in Burke County.Mrs. Nasworthy retired from Keller Furniture Company after 24 years of service and was a member of Vidette United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Gardner McBride; her second husband, Norman Luke Nasworthy; and her daughter, Eva Faye McBride Barrett.

She is survived by a son, Leonard Dean McBride (Vivian) of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Doug Jenkins of Sardis, David G. Wilson, Sr. of Waynesboro, Emily Melissa Hartley (Kevin) of Beaufort, SC, Laura W. Tidwell (Ryan) of Hephzibah, and Dean Jenkins; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Tip Carroll officiating.Interment will follow at Rose Dhu Cemetery, Vidette, Georgia.Pallbearers will be Jeffery Phillips, Jeff Phillips, Vic Pullium, Chuck Bridges, Ronnie Winn, and David Wilson, Jr.The family and pallbearers are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m.
