Elizabeth Newman-Dickey, 54, entered into rest Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She was a native and lifelong resident of Waynesboro. She was a graduate of the Waynesboro High School Class of 1982 and was a graduate of Augusta Tech with a Welding Degree and Respiratory Therapist Degree. Elizabeth was a Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Dickey; and a nephew, Dillon Bartlett.

She is survived by her mother, Hattie Moore; a sister, Sophia Canady (Neal); a brother, Everette Newman (Melanie); and four nieces and nephews, Joseph Quick, Aaron Lemon, Ansley Newman, and Xandry Newman.

Memorial Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Earl Saxon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Remembrances may be made to The National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
