St. Clair, GA – Mrs. Elizabeth Walden Logue, age 96, entered into rest Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Keysville Nursing Home.
She was born in Burke County on December 10, 1919 to the late Plez Rance Walden and Hattie Neal Walden. Until her illness, she was an active member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church for over seventy years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Vincent Logue, Jr. "G.V.";three children, Louise Logue Knight, Denny Logue, and Geraldine Logue Sherrill; and four siblings, Evelyn Walden McClellan Davis, Buford Walden "J.B.", Edna Walden McClellan, and Dorothy Walden Yelton "Dot".
Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary Logue Robbins; four grandchildren, Mike Knight, Vince Hadden, Cam Hadden, and Lisa Logue Kaiser; three great grandchildren, Nickie Knight Arbisi, Michael Knight, and Joshua Hadden; three great great grandchildren, Morgan Arbisi, Banks Knight, and Gavin Arbisi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 9, 2016 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel. Sheriff Greg Coursey will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the start of the service. The graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at the family cemetery in St. Clair.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
