Elizabeth "Betsy" Daley, 36, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native and longtime resident of Baltimore, MD and has lived in Burke County since August 2020. She was a graduate of Lansdowne High School, and she met her life-long partner and devoted husband during that time. Betsy loved to cook, and everyone loved her cooking. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her family and friends. Betsy was a great woman with a heart of gold and always helped those in need. She was a leader, honest, and outspoken, and had a strong personality which allowed her to succeed and create unbreakable bonds throughout life. She loved the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, and Buffalo Bills. Betsy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, and aunt. Her husband and children meant the world to her, and she made sure everyone knew when she brought them up in conversation.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Elizabeth Sullivan; paternal grandparents, John "Jacob" and Margarite Krach; grandfather-in-law, Lawrence Geisendaffer, Jr.; and special loved ones, Charlene "Aunt Char" Mitchell and Mark Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip "Phil" Daley, Jr.; daughter, Candice Lane of Lebanon, PA; sons, Nicholas and Nolan Daley of Baltimore; father, Gary J. Krach, Sr. (Mary "Mother") of NC; mother, Karen Sullivan of Baltimore; brother, Gary "Jamie" Krach, Jr. of Baltimore; sister, Heather Krach and her children Kara and George "Jack" Geisbert of Lansdowne, MD; mother-in-law, Marie Squires (Mike) of Baltimore; father-in-law, Phillip Daley, Sr. (Dawn) of Baltimore; grandmother-in-law, Norma "Nana" Geisendaffer of Stevensville, MD; sisters from other misters, Ashley Rector (Evan) and children, Chloe, Logan, Emma, and Lilly of Chattanooga, TN, Dana Coker and daughter, Ariana, of Baltimore, and Stacie Mitchell and children, Cody and Logan of Baltimore; a beloved dog, Ragnar; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and precious friends.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held at 5:00pm Thursday, November 11th at Pointers Grill in Waynesboro, Georgia.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held in Maryland at a later date.
Remembrances may be made to the American Red Cross in honor of Betsy.
