Elaine Burke Lott

October 30, 1952 — May 15, 2020

Elaine Faye Burke Lott, of Graniteville, SC, 67, entered into rest May 15, 2020, at her home. Elaine was born on October 31, 1952, in Millen, GA. She attended schools in Waynesboro, graduating in 1970 from Waynesboro High School and was a graduate of Abraham Baldwin College with a degree in Secretarial Science. She was a typesetter for the True Citizen and other printing companies. She was a member of Breezy Hill Baptist Church, enjoying time spent with her family and friends, crafts, music, painting, and singing karaoke.

Elaine was preceded death by her beloved husband, Lewis Randy Lott; her mother, Wronnie Saxon Burke; and two brothers, Alvin Burke, and Tony Burke.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Christopher Monroe (Lori) of Galloway, OH; her father, Talmadge E. Burke of Waynesboro; two sisters, Connie Judy (David) of Martinez, GA and Lynne Cone (Dean) of Hahira, GA; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Burke of Milledgeville and Elizabeth Burke of Laurinburg, NC; three granddaughters, Laurel, Cora, and Brenna Monroe; eight nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and great nephews; and family and friends.

To ensure the safety of family and friends a private Graveside Service will be held.
