Edna Pearl Mcbride

Waynesboro, GA - Mrs. Edna Warren McBride, age 94, died Thursday, August 14, 2008.She was a native of Candler County and lived most of her life in Waynesboro with her husband, George, of 49 years.She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and worked for Georgia Power for over 30 years.She was currently living with her daughter and son-in-law in Register, GA.Mrs. McBride was preceded in death by her husband, George Presley McBride.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Bob Green; three grandchildren, Boyd Green and his wife, Brooke, of Statesboro, Dawn Inglett and her husband, David, of McDonough, GA, Pam Balent and her husband, Kevin, of Cumming, GA.She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Lenez McLendon of Statesboro, GA.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 17, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro.Mrs. McBride will lie-in-state an hour before the service.Rev. Jim Knight and Rev. Bob Green will officiate.Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
