Waynesboro, GA - Edna Cook, 57, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Eisenhower Medical Center.She was born on May 15, 1952 in Burke County, Georgia to Glen Kilpatrick and the late Edna Lucille Herndon Kilpatrick.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, George Cook of Waynesboro; sons, Rodney Parker, Byron King, and William Cook, all of Waynesboro; daughter, Laura Cook of Waynesboro; brother, Johnny Parker (Nancy) of Chester, VA; sisters, Cathy Capley (Dale) of O'Fallon, IL, Jackie Eskew (Charles) and Glenda Wilson, all of Waynesboro; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Bethel Baptist Church, Alexander, GA with Rev. Matt Shryock officiating.Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Byron King, Rodney Parker, Charles Eskew, Michael Eskew, William Cook, Aubrey Green. Family and Pallbearers will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. to go in procession to church.
