Dwayne Curtis Cunningham, 58, entered into rest Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in France and has been a lifelong resident of Burke County. He was a member of the Waynesboro Church of God and was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Cunningham; and a brother, David Cunningham.

He is survived by a daughter, April Rios (Rick) of Waynesboro; a son, Jason Cunningham (Chelsea) of Harleyville, SC; four grandchildren, Lyric Griswell, Blake Cunningham, Riley Cunningham, and Regan Cunningham; his mother, Virginia Cunningham of Martinez; two sisters, Debbie Sebastian (Chris) Sumter, SC and Dianna Earle of Waynesboro; a brother, Danny Cunningham (Laura) of Shell Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00pm Friday, August 27 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Wigley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
