Tucker, GA- Dorothy Louise Mallard Fowler, 91, entered into rest Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at her home. She was born in Screven County, GA on May 10, 1918 to the late Robert Lee Mallard and Pearl Sasser Mallard. She invested her life in the minds of children as a teacher for 41 years. She wrote poetry, was an accomplished pianist, and enjoy sewing and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Fowler,

She is survived by her son, Roy Rustin of Baco Raton , Fl; her two daughters, Linda Kilbourn of Houston, TX and Pat McBride of Atlanta; her sister, Peggy Chandler of Augusta; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at St. Marks Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Sirmons officiating.
