Sardis, GA - Donna Kay Robinson, 54, entered into rest Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Waynesboro on July 5, 1954 to Norman Elliott, Sr. and Juanita Cullen Elliott. She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church, a Sardis City Council member, and was an avid gardener, and decorator. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Robinson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Elliott Robinson (Rachael), and their son, Grant Robinson; daughter, Ginger Bridgers (Jay) and their sons, Jackson Oliver, and Tyler Bridgers, daughter, Emily Robinson; brother, Norman Elliott, Jr.; mother-in-law, Betty Robinson; sisters-in-law, Harriett Dixon (Grady), and Brenda Roberts (Fred), all of Sardis, GA.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 12, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:00 am at Sardis United Methodist Church. Rev. Steve Sirmons will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mark Methodist Cemetery, Sardis, GA. Pallbearers will be Stephen White, Roy Chandler, Chester Skinner, Al Smith, Otis McCoy, and John Ellison.

Flowers are being accepted; however, the family suggests that memorials may be made to Sardis United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 220, Sardis, GA30456.
