Augusta, GA. - Donald L. "Don L." Stafford, Sr., 73, entered into rest Sunday, October 13, 2013. He was born in Savannah, GA. on May 17, 1940. He retired as a Crane Operator with Local #474, but his passion was shrimping. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ellen "Jupy" Stafford; three children, Donnie Stafford (Lynne), Michelle Busbee (Robby), and Mandi Coddington (Rob); five grandchildren, Corey, Stephanie, Skylar, Kayla (Jeremy), and Brittany; one great grandson, Jaxsen; four step-grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Garrett, and Jessica; one step-great granddaughter, Emerson, his mother, Florence; his sister, Margaret Ann (Carlton); his brother, Charles; and many other family members and friends that love him very much. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at New Hope Worship Center located at 715 South Old Belair Rd. Grovetown, GA. 30813.
