Delores "Dee" Faglier Hinson, 56, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, September 28, 2020. She was a native of Savannah, grew up in Dearing, and has been a longtime resident of Burke County. She is a member of South Haven Baptist Church, where she praised the Lord with her gift of singing. She was a dedicated dental assistant, former employee of Bi-Lo and a current employee of CVS Pharmacy, where she never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Hinson of Waynesboro; two daughters, Hollie Gibbs (Jason) of Martinez and Kathleen Turner of Del Ray Beach, FL; two sons, B.J. Hinson (Tori) of Beech Island and Joseph Hinson of Aiken; her mother, Louise Dillon of Evans; two brothers, Dennis Faglier (Anita) of Augusta and Loren Smith (Carmen) of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren, Elena Hinson, Isaiah Hinson, Warren Hinson, Baylee Turner, and Caleb Hinson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, October 2 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, October 3 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Taten Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.
