David Mobley

November 24, 1952 — March 20, 2009

Waynesboro, GA - David Mobley, age 56, passed away on Friday, March 20th, 2009 at his residence. He enjoyed fishing and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Mobley of Waynesboro; two sons, Stan Mobley (Millie) of Martinez, and Brian Mobley of Waynesboro; one brother; Mike Mobley; four sisters, Faye Bland, Mary Jean Stephens, Sylvia Hoover, and Tommy Nell Wise, all of Savannah; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of DeLoach Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bill Evans, Hank Johnson, Ernie Johnson, Danny Meeks, Kenneth English, Brad Mobley, Brent Mobley, and David Quick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1105 Furys Lane Suite D, Augusta, GA30907 or American Diabetes Association, 326 Greene Street, Augusta, GA30901.
