He was born in Waynesboro, GA and was the son of Joy M. Holt and the late Jeff L. Holt. David attended Carson Newman College and Augusta Technical College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Waynesboro.
Survivors are his mother, Joy M. Holt of Waynesboro; sister, Donna H. Buell of Greenville, SC; nephew, Geoffrey Buell of Charlotte, NC. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, George Buell.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm -3:00pm Saturday, March 19 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the organization of one's choice.
