Hephzibah, GA - David Charles Goetzman, Sr., 43, suddenly entered into rest Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in McDuffie County, GA.He was born on January 26, 1966 in Augusta, GA to Ernest Harvey Goetzman and Mary Louise Pinson Goetzman.He lived most of his life in this area.He was Vice President of Elevator Mobility.He was a member of Berlin United Methodist Church and a past member of The Lions Club of Hephzibah.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis Marie Sapp Goetzman; two sons, David Charles "Davie" Goetzman, Jr. and Harvey Michael Goetzman; and two sisters, Rachel Hardin (Bernie) and Mary Elizabeth Deike (Dennis).

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday July, 24th, 2009 at DeLoach Funeral Home, Hephzibah.

Funeral Services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 at Berlin United Methodist Church, 1518 Hephzibah-McBean Road, Hephzibah, GA. with Rev. Ronnie Faircloth officiating.Mr. Goetzman, will lie-in-state an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.Pallbearers will be Charlie Troglen, Tim Lacy, Stanley Martin, Daryl Smart, Troy Pinson, Walter M. Eubanks, Fred Goetzman, and Tim Goetzman.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hephzibah Lions Club.
