He was born in Savannah, lived in Homestead, FL and Michigan and had been a resident of Knoxville for the past 25 years. He was the owner and operator of GN Paint and Body Shop in Waynesville, TN. He was a Mason and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. & Mrs. William H. Brown of Knoxville, TN.; his aunts, Rose Taylor of Millen, Hazel Jenkins of Swainsboro, and Shirley Roberts of Sparta; and several cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Butch Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Gardens.
