Mrs. Clara Lee Dalbert
Waynesboro-Mrs. Clara Lee Dalbert, 73 passed away Friday, June 16, 2107 at her residence. Mrs. Dalbert was born in Stone Mountain, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Los Angeles California. She also was a resident of Richmond and Moreno Valley California before moving to Burke County 13 years ago. She attended San Jose State University and the University of California, Berkeley. She continued her education at the Union Institute and University where she received her Master's in Education. She was an administrator and teachers trainer for the City of Oakland Head Start Program, and retired from Moreno Valley Head Start in 2004. She was a member of Botsford Baptist Church.
Surviving are, her husband of 54 years, Edmon Dalbert of Waynesboro, her sons, Loren David Dalbert, Ian Eugene Dalbert, Nigel Lawrence Dalbert all of Georgia; her brother, Robert Bell and her sisters, Betty Davis and Barbara Adams all of Los Angeles; her grandchildren, Ian Dalbert, Jr., Danika Dalbert, Kiara Kadar, Terrence Dalbert, Loren Kadar, Janae Dalbert and one great grandchild, Christian Dalbert.
Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Botsford Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Dan officiating.
