Charlotte Weaver Brunson

North Augusta, SC - Charlotte Weaver Brunson, 88, entered into rest on Sunday, September 18, 2011.For over 25 years, she was the bookkeeper at Johnson's Garage in Waynesboro.She was a charter member as well as the first secretary at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband,R. L. " Bob" Brunson.

She is survived by four children, April Callaway of Gainesville, GA, Danny Brunson (Cathy) of King George, VA, Tony Brunson (Susan) of Evans, and Terry Brunson (Martha) of North Augusta; a sister, Sammie Jacobs of Raleigh, NC; eleven grandchildren, Jack Callaway (Tina), Kyle Callaway (Eve), Dawn Groseclose (Jon), Valerie Bragg (Jackson), Allen Brunson, Anthony "T.J." Brunson, Annelle "Nellie" Brunson, Robert Brunson, Julie Brunson, Anne Bentley, and Chuck Bowman.Several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, at the funeral home.Rev. Wes Lawson will officiate.Pallbearers will be her grandsons.Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Ruth Sunday School Class.Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rosemont Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, 710 Stone Avenue, Waynesboro, GA30830 or a charity of one's choice.
