Charles "Tommy" McMillan, 55, of Sardis, entered into rest Monday, February 3, 2014 at Doctors Hospital. He was born in Burke County on May 6, 1958. He was preceded in death by his father, Otis McMillan and a sister, Maude Hendrick.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa McMillan; 5 children, Dayna Michelle McMillan, Chuck Thompson McMillan, Jr., Shelby Maude McMillan, LeeAnn Rasales, and Bill Kirkendoll; mother, Betty Jean Royal; 2 step children, Wade H. Skinner, Jr. and Dereck M. Skinner; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jody Smith, and Poncho Smith; 1 sister, Lee Smith Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, February 6 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be 2pm Friday, February 7 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Alexander. Rev. Frank Waits will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chuck McMillan, Bill Kirkendoll, Nickey DeLaigle, Poncho Smith, Jody Smith, and Ruben Lovato.
