Charles "Chuck" Cleveland Jenkins, 61, entered into rest Friday, October 1, 2021. He retired from the State of Georgia after 35 years of service where he served as an occupational therapist and a paraprofessional at River Quest. After retirement, he began driving a school bus for the specials needs children and was loved by all the children on his route. Chuck was a vibrant, full of life kind of person who loved the beach no matter the season. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland "Buddy" and Mary Bell Jenkins.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Randy Skinner; four sisters, Beverly J. Collier of Covington, Susan J. Greiner of Hephzibah, Kim J. Leon of Vidalia, and Kerin J. Armstrong of Blythe; a special niece, Kelli J. Fitzgerald of Richmond Hill; his nephews and niece, Jason Nelson (Kim) of Oxford, John Richard Greiner, Jr. (Amy) of Hephzibah, Nicholas Brad Greiner of Hephzibah, Justin Beggs (Amanda) of Metter, Bryan Batton of Vidalia, Paige Melton (Kyle) of Blythe, and Tyler McKenna of Augusta; his beloved feline brother, Oreo; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral Services are private but a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
