Carson Reid Bragg, 7, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Monday, March 21, 2015. Carson was born in Waynesboro and was presently a resident of Gough. He attended first grade at Waynesboro Primary School. Carson loved adventures including, riding golf carts, hunting for Big Foot, riding four wheelers through the mud, fishing, and most anything that included the outdoors. Carson was fascinated with dinosaurs and sharks.
Surviving are, his mother, Mary Ann Bragg of Gough, his step-father, Joey Kemp of Sylvania, his maternal grandparents, Jason and Tina Bragg of Millen, maternal grandparents, Steve and Barbara Weddon of Gough, paternal step-grandparents Robert and Ann Sheffield of Sylvania, great maternal "granny" and "big papa", John and Patricia Thurston of Millen, great maternal "mimie", Jackie Glisson of Waynesboro; his uncles and aunts, Jason and Christina Bragg, Jr., T.J. and Kimberly Flakes, Thomas and Daneille Renew, Cassie Bragg, Celena Bragg, Jacob and Hailey Sheffield and his great aunt and uncle, Todd and Jessica Edenfield.
Active Pallbearers will be Jacob Sheffield, Jason Fountain, Luke Morris, John William, Scott Norton and Thomas Kelley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Georgia State Patrol.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016, in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Heath Taylor and Dr. Tom Akins officiating with burial to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
