Carolyn Holland Dixon

Carolyn Holland Dixon, 76, entered into rest December 9, 2023. She was born in Millen and was a longtime resident of Burke County. She was a graduate of Waynesboro High School. Carolyn retired from Plant Vogtle after 37 years and was a member of the Women of Georgia Power Group.

She is survived by her three children, George Eddie Faircloth II of Evans, Marlena Carol Clark of Augusta, and Tamara Renee Mimmie (Matthew) of Martinez; five grandchildren, Melissa McCollum, Caitlin Clark, Patrick Clark, Jr., Jordan Faircloth, and Hannah Faircloth; and seven great grandchildren, Lawson Hohmann, Questen McCollum, Oaklyn Stockton, Fletcher McCollum, Wilder McCollum, Cohen Clark, and Rigs McCollum.

Graveside Services will be held 3:00pm Sunday, December 17 at Burke Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
