Carey Wayne Daniel, 44, of Waynesboro, entered into eternal rest on March 29, 2018. He is the son of Larry and Glennis Daniel and Cathie and Perritt Rabun of Waynesboro.
By profession he was a Licensed Masters Social Worker with his bachelor's degree from Augusta University and a master's degree from the University of Southern California. His adult career focused on improving the lives of the patients and clients he served. Each day his goal was to determine their needs and then to find a way to meet those needs.
Whatever challenges he may have been facing in his own life, they were never so big that they over-shadowed his commitment to the people who depended on him.
Brilliant blue eyes sparkled when his smile lit up not only his face, but the entire room. He treasured the time he spent with his friends and loved being the center of attention.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Mark Daniel (Jessica) of Waynesboro and Landrum Rabun of Waynesboro; three nieces and nephews, Bryson Daniel, Kinsey Daniel, and Peyton Rabun; and his friend and mentor , Tom Dorn.
