January 17, 1936 — August 19, 2012

Vidette, GA- Calvin Raley, 76, entered into rest on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Vidette and was a graduate of Louisville High School. He was a veteran of the US Army. Calvin retired from Gold Kist Grain Elevator in Waynesboro. He was a lifelong member of the Vidette United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise Raley, andbrother, Rodney Raley.

He is survived by 2 siblings, Dale R. Tinley (Henry) of Waynesboro, and Jimmy Raley (Betty) of Martinez; 2 special nephews, David and Rod Raley and their families of Vidette; and sister-in-law, Louise Raley of Vidette.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 21 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, August 22 at Vidette United Methodist Church. Rev. Dr. Emmitt Tip Carroll and Rev. David Boggs will officiate. Interment will follow at Rose Dhu Cemetery.

Flowers are being accepted; however, memorials may be made to the Rose Dhu Cemetery Fund, c/o Rosemary Baughman, 7166 Hwy 24 West, Louisville, GA 30434.
