Hephzibah – Brooke N. McManus, 43, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2019. She was born on August 23, 1975, in Savannah, GA to the late Richard Allen and Audrey DeLoach Williams.
Brooke was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be truly missed by her family. Through her chosen profession as a nurse, she touched many lives with her wit, sincere encouragement, and sternness. Throughout her career, Brooke worked at Brentwood Nursing Home, Keysville Nursing Home, Pineview Gardens Personal Care Home, Vascular Unit at University Hospital, Family Medicine at the A.U. Clinic, and the A.U. Cancer Center. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, serving wherever she was needed and expecting others to do the same.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jeremy M. McManus of Hephzibah; four children, Brendan A. McManus (Taylor), Shawn M. McManus, Ansley B. McManus, and Lucas O. McManus all of Hephzibah; a grandson, Allen James McManus of Hephzibah; a sister, Jennifer Hudson of Columbia County; a sister-in-law, Chandra McManus Kelly (Steve) of Hephzibah; a brother-in-law, James McManus III (Candy) of Hephzibah; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service honoring Brooke's life will be held at Friendship United Methodist Church, 209 Greiner Circle, Hephzibah, GA., on Saturday, February 2 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends following the service.
