Bobbie Rhodes Blackmon

October 25, 1963 — April 29, 2015

Dearing, GA-Bobbie Rhodes Blackmon, 51, entered into rest Wednesday, April 29, 2015. She was born and grew up in Augusta. She was a 1982 graduate of Evans High School. Bobbie was a longtime resident of Dearing, GA. She was presently working at Georgia Regents University.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Blackmon, Sr.; daughters, Stephanie Burgess (Dale) of Lexington, SC, Sharon Blackmon of Thomson, Leigh Anne Hathcock (Richard, Sr.) of Dearing, and Dana Sammons (Adam) of Wrens; her mother, Betty Dixon of Keysville; brothers, John Rhodes of Aiken, SC and Troy Rhodes of Waynesboro; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held 3pm Saturday, May 2 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Reverends Wes Lawson and Bruce Allen will officiate.

Remembrances may be made to Rosemont Baptist Church, The Vision Fund, 522 Hwy 25 North, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
