Bobbie Jean Barefield

Bobbie Jean Barefield, 84, entered into rest Friday, January 26, 2024. She was born in Allendale, SC to the late Nora and John Muns and had been a longtime resident of Millen. She was of the Baptist faith. Bobbie was a caring, hardworking, strong, and independent woman. She loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Barefield; a daughter, Bobbie Dale Barefield; two sons, John Morris and Mims Michael Morris, Sr.; a great grandchild, Ashton Morris; two brothers, Larry Furman Muns and John Franklin Muns; and a sister, Lucy Chance.

She is survived by two sons, Toby Morris (Teresa Brown) of Perkins and Adolphus Morris, Jr. of Sardis; nine grandchildren, Kelsey Barefield, McKenzie Barefield, Toby Morris, Jr., Haley Morris, Chris Morris, Nikki Morris, Josh Morris, Cody Morris, and Mims Michael Morris, Jr.;14 great grandchildren, Daniel Lee Muns, Jr., Brittney Muns, Lacey Muns, Adam Wayne Morris, Oklyn Dale Rachels, Gunner Bowens, Rayon Barefield, Braylon Barefield, Megan Morris, Kaylee Morris, Aubrey Morris, Mims Morris III, Miracle Morris, and Wrenlee Louise Muns; a sister, Joyce Quick; a brother, J.W. Muns; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Thursday, February 1 at the funeral home with Memorial Services following at 2:00pm.
