Betty G. Pebbles

Williston, SC - Betty G. Peebles, 85, beloved wife of the late Tommie G. Peebles Sr. departed this world to be with the Lord Thursday evening May 30, 2013, at Laurel Baye Nursing Home of Williston. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lizzie Garrison. She is survived by sons Clarence (C. B.) Lenard (Margaret) of Williston S.C., and Lance W. Peebles Sr. (Roxie) of Hephzibah, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and sister Vivian Howell. Betty was a member of Bible Deliverance Temple for over 22 years. She enjoyed being active in the church as well as other organizations including the Red Hat Society, Peace Officers Association and the Board of Elections. Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013, at West View Cemetery, Augusta, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Kelly McKnight officiating. Visitation with the family at the cemetery will be immediately following the service. Honorary pallbearers are Clint Lenard, Lance Peebles Jr., Christopher Bowles, Cody Lenard, Michael McGahee, and Andrew Howell.
