Belinda DeLaigle Baker, 69, entered into rest Saturday, August 27, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was a native and lifelong resident of Waynesboro. She worked at Southern Nuclear for 33 years, where she was known as “Bee”. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Botsford Baptist Church. Belinda was a member and devoted volunteer of the Georgia Field Trail Association for many years. She had a great love for gardening and flowers. Belinda could always see the good in everything and truly graced the lives of everyone she met. She was a devoted mother and loved her grandchildren and family with all of her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Sarah DeLaigle.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton Baker; two daughters, Tara Kim (Paul) and Chrissy Jenkins (David); two stepdaughters, Stefanie Skinner and Hannah Lotz; 12 grandchildren, Ray Kim, Cooper Kim, Matthew Kim, Michael Kim, Amanda Kim, Karsyn Posey, Kaylie Posey, Karaline Posey, Jackson Jenkins, Savannah Parler, Christian Skinner, and Connor Lotz; two sisters, Dottie Morris (Tyron) and Robin DeLaigle-Walker (Jimmy); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 5:00pm Thursday, September 1 at Botsford Baptist Church. Graveside Services will immediately follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Tim Brown and Rev. Mike Dann officiating.
Pallbearers will be Charlie DeLaigle, Bobby DeLaigle, Don Reeves, Tim Drew, David Usher, Ricky Quick, Jeff Quick, and Tommy Oglesby.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her doctors, nurses, and caregivers, along with Regency Hospice nurses Jill Posey, Leigh Alexander, and Angel Styburski.
Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association, Botsford Baptist Church, or Faith Christian Fellowship Church.
