Waynesboro-Mr. Barry Lyle Randolph, 67, entered into rest Saturday, October 28, 2017, at his residence. Barry and his brother Garry were the first set of twins to be born on Camp Gordon, known now as Fort Gordon, on June 13, 1950. He has been a longtime resident of Waynesboro, veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam with the Seabees Battalion, and a member of the American Legion Post 120. He is retired from Deerfield Specialty Papers in Augusta. He was a member and former president of the Untied Paper Workers International Local 816. He attended the First United Methodist Church of Waynesboro.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Stella Jane Randolph.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy D. Randolph of Waynesboro; his sons, Glenn Newsome of Waynesboro and Emory Randolph and wife Vivian of Savannah; his twin brother, Garry Wendell Randolph and wife Ginger of St. Augustine, Fl.; a grandchild, Aiden Emerson Randolph; and a brother-in-law, Joe Everett Daniel and wife Susan of Waynesboro.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017, in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Sam Wilder officiating followed by Military Honors.
Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
