Barbara Hill, 73, passed away on Sunday May 2, 2021, at her residence. She was born on March 3, 1948, to the late Thomas Jefferson and Juanita Barefield Oglesby. Barbara loved going to the mountains, going to the lake, and camping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Hill; and a brother, T.J. Oglesby, Jr.

Surviving are her son, Ronald Joiner (Cindy) of San Mateo, FL; a daughter, Suzanne Newman (Mark) of Waynesboro; two brothers, Mitchell Oglesby (Mary) of Waynesboro and Joseph Oglesby of Keysville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
