Anne Medlock Hogan
June 2, 1937 — June 23, 2015
Anne was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a long time resident of Sylacauga, Alabama before moving to Waynesboro, Georgia in 1975.She loved Waynesboro and was very active in her community and took great pleasure in helping her friends and family. She was an energetic member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church where she was on the Alter Guild, taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir. Anne was instrumental in helping design and implement the replacement the stained glass windows in the church. Anne was a Pink Lady at Burke County Medical Center for over 27 years. She was a member of Waynesboro Garden Club for many years and enjoyed playing bridge.Anne was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan for over 40 years and never missed a home game.GO DAWGS!
Anne is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Leonard "Bo" Hogan of Waynesboro; her son, David Hogan and wife Carol of Waynesboro; Becky Reynolds and husband Jerry of Augusta; her sisters Florence McAuley of Danville, California, and Beverly James of Hilton Head, South Carolina; her grandchildren Lauren Rocha and husband Sergio, Davison Hogan, Hamilton Hogan, Ryan Reynolds, Brantley Reynolds, and Madison Reynolds.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at her home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church with burial to follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
Following the interment there will be a reception in St. Michael's Parrish Hall.
Active pallbearers will be Jerry Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds, Brantley Reynolds, Madison Reynolds, Hamilton Hogan and Sergio Rocha.
