Anna Marie Lamb

July 26, 1921 — September 17, 2015

Keysville-Mrs. Anna Marie Lamb 94, devoted wife, mama, and nanny went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Keysville, Georgia.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Karlsruhe, Germany in 1921 and moved to the United States in 1952. She became a U.S. citizen in 1964. Mrs. Lamb has been a longtime resident of Blythe, Georgia. She was a member of the Blythe Baptist Church, active in the adult senior Sunday school class and was a member of Circle of Friends at the church. She was an avid gardener, had a kind heart for dogs and loved sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Lee Lamb.
Surviving are, her children, daughter, Susan Lamb Perkins and husband Bobby of Blythe, her sons, Lester Lamb and wife Jan of Martinez and Bruce Lamb of Evans; her grandchildren, Bobby Perkins, Jeffrey Perkins, Tony Lamb, Travis Lamb, Ashley Lamb Cook and Katie Lamb Parker; her great grandchildren, Annabeth Perkins, Jackson Perkins, Preston Perkins, Carter Perkins, and Emma Parker. Also surviving are her step-children, Sara Williamson, Bobby Lamb and wife Mildred, LaNeith Schwalbauch and husband Bill and numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 4 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Blythe Baptist Church with the Reverend Leon Frierson, Tony Lamb and Reverend Greg Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be, Bobby Perkins, Jeffrey Perkins, Tony Lamb, Travis Lamb, John Parker, Greg Williamson and Brian Williamson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Circle of Friends.
The Family would like to personally thank the staff of Keysville Nursing Home for their compassionate care of Mrs. Anna.
