Amanda was married to the late R. C. Teague of Waynesboro, GA, where they were married for 60 years and raised their family.She was also preceded in death by her father, Tyrus L. Smith; her mother, Esther Griner Smith; and a sister, Mary Ellen Moore.
She is survived by children, Naleeta (Alan) Ramfjord, Ellijay, GA, Liddy (Richard) Chatham, Atlanta, GA, Tyrus Teague (Lynn), Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ty and Anna Teague, of Jonesboro, AR, and John Ramfjord, Statesboro, GA, and Mandy Ramfjord, Dalton, GA; and great-grandchildren, Bryant and Margot Ramfjord, Valdosta, GA; sisters, Ollie Rockett, North Augusta, SC, Helen Tindal (Bill), Elberton, GA, Gail Mosley, Swainsboro, GA; brothers, Perrin Smith (Irma), Waynesboro, GA, and Ty "Amos" Smith (Alice), Evans, GA; and many much loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7, from 6 until 8 at the DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home.
The service will be at the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro, officiated by the Rev. Jim Knight, at 11:00, Thursday, November 8, where she was a life-long member.Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.
