Amanda Rowell Mobley
Waynesboro-Amanda Rowell Mobley 34, entered into rest Sunday, June 18, 2017. Amanda was born in Richmond County and was a lifelong resident of Burke County. Amanda graduated from Burke County High School in 2001, after high school she attended Augusta State College and received her RN degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 2005. After her education she was an Instructor of Nursing at Augusta Tech. Amanda was a RN case manager for University Home Health and presently a case manager with St. Joseph's Hospice. She was a member of Green's Cut United Methodist Church.
Surviving are, her daughter, Noah Kate Mobley of Waynesboro, her sister, Shae Rowell Ward and her husband C.C. of Waynesboro, her brother, James B. "Jim" Rowell IV of Sandersville, her mother, Debbie Gresham Babb and step-father Cliff Babb of Waynesboro and her father, James B. "Jimmy" Rowell, III of Green's Cut and numerous Aunts and Uncles.
Active Pallbearers will be C.C. Ward, Stan Mobley, Daniel Wiggins, Justin DeLaigle, Neal Quick, and Jim Rowell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brad Gresham, Warren Glisson, Ollie Kelly, Tommy Davis and Mark Gresham.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at Green's Cut United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jerry Sharp and Reverend Wes Lawson officiating.
Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Gardens.
