Alice Reynolds Brinson

Waynesboro, GA-Alice Reynolds Brinson died peacefully on December 10, 2012. She was born August 2, 1920, in Waynesboro, Georgia. She attended Waynesboro public schools and Hollins College in Virginia. She was married to the late Col. (R) William L. Brinson, USAF.Although Alice was a native of Waynesboro, Georgia, she spent many of her adult years living abroad in Morocco and Germany and traveling with her husband. Following her husband's retirement from the Air Force, they lived for many years in Jacksonville, Florida. After his death, she returned to Waynesboro. Her last years were spent being lovingly cared for by Mrs. Barbara Hall and her capable staff.

She is survived by her brothers Joe (Peggy) of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Thomas (Janann) of Waynesboro, Georgia. Also surviving her are nephews Andy Reynolds, Douglas Rangely, Tom Reynolds and Ben Reynolds, and nieces Alice Reynolds and Angie Ferrin and her cousin Pam Ulmer Bowers.

A graveside service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Waynesboro at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 12.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association (1-800-272-3900) or to a charity of one's choice.
