Alfredo Caracol

Waynesboro – Mr. Alfredo Caracol, 84, of Waynesboropassed away on Thursday September 14, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Alfredo was a graduate of the University of Hawaii. In his younger years he was an avid golfer. Mr. Alfredo retired from the United States Army after serving for 23 years. During his service he was awarded many medals including the Bronze Star. Mr. Alfedo was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Damian and Maria Caracol, as well as his five siblings.

He is survived by his wife of60 years, Incarnacion Caracol; three sons, Alan Caracol of Pooler, Ga., Rayford Caracol (Shannon) of Renton, Wa., Robert Caracol (Mary Bell) of Eugene, Or.; two daughters, Brenda Remiticado (Sidney) of Aiei, Hi., Laverne Livernoche of Portland, Or.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;and a number of nieces and nephews.
