Aimee Dianne Dixon, age 31, ended her earthly journey on Monday, December 13, 2021. She graduated from Burke County High School in 2008, where she enjoyed band, choir, and 4-H. She was employed at Waynesboro Primary School and Sconyers BBQ. Aimee loved the children that were in her class and the people she worked with. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfathers, Odis Dixon and Earl F. Dixon; and her maternal grandparents Lewis Oliver and Bertha Mae McManus.
She is survived by her parents, Cheryl Lynn Parrish and her husband Mark, and Dennis Dixon and his wife Karen; five siblings, Halver Dixon and his girlfriend Sunny Deal, Emily Dixon and her boyfriend Nick Hemphill, Spencer Dixon and his wife Katie, Devan Dixon, and Derrick Dixon; her sweet nephew, Jacob Rhett Dixon; her paternal grandmother, Nancy Lee Dixon; two stepsisters, Kristen Parrish and Kaitlyn Parrish; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held 7:00pm Thursday, December 16 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Lamar Willis. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
